Ijeoma is a Nigerian lady who grew up in the United States, and returned to Nigeria in 2013 to start a business — a clothing store that trades imported Western clothing.

She used her life’s savings to purchase stock, ship it to Nigeria, leased property, rehabilitated the interior and organised a great opening party.

Two months after opening the store, she received a notice out of the blue, and the building was demolished by bulldozers. Reason: There was a plan to widen the road.
