Kim Scott used to be the head of Adsense and Youtube at Google, and recently revealed the company’s unique method of leadership and management.

“If you’re a manager at Google, you don’t get to choose who you hire unilaterally. You don’t get to choose who you fire unilaterally. You don’t get to choose what ratings and promotions people get, which determines the bonuses they get.”
